Mrs. Megan Craig

Megan Craig, a recently married homeschool graduate, lives a full and fulfilling life managing her home, working beside her husband, and serving in her church. In addition to running her home, her work includes bookkeeping, graphic and web design, shipping and inventory management. Every day, she puts to good use the lessons God taught her during singleness. Megan loves to encourage (and be encouraged by) other sisters in their pursuit of biblical womanhood, whether in singleness or marriage. She and her husband, Daniel, live in Colorado.

Taryn & Mirren Martin

Taryn and Mirren Martin are daughters of Dr. Jobe and Jenna Dee Martin and work fulltime in their family’s ministry, Biblical Discipleship Ministries. Some of their work within the ministry includes writing and research, events coordination, managing the BDM online store, and product development. As the Lord gives opportunity, they enjoy a side ministry to girls and young ladies. Taryn and Mirren’s great desire is that young woman understand the importance, blessing, and fulfillment found in a deep and personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Their talks challenge young ladies toward living victorious Christian lives. Additionally, they teach Biblical principles helpful for confronting cultural issues so that young ladies are better equipped to live out a Biblical worldview for God’s glory. Taryn and Mirren live with their parents in Rockwall, Texas.

Mrs. Sarah Haynes

Sarah was transplanted from her native country (the great state of Texas) in 2014 when she married David, the love of her life. The couple resides in Independence, Missouri where they are seeking to be a light in their community and stand in the gap to make up the hedge. Sarah came to know the Lord at the age of 12 when she was confronted with her desperate need of Savior. Since that May day, Sarah has desired to live a life of surrender, striving to keep Jesus as the “Lord” of her life. Sarah loved growing up with a houseful of best friends, her nine siblings! Sarah teaches piano, enjoys sign language interpreting, drinking coffee, and the color yellow. One of her favorite quotes by Jim Elliot is, “Wherever you are, be all there! Live to the hilt every situation you believe to be the will of God.”

Ruth Wissmann

Ruth Wissmann is a young woman with a passionate desire to know Jesus Christ and make Him known. She has enjoyed serving her family whether at home or on the road – her adventures have taken her to over 40 US states, traveling with the Wissmann Family music ministry, as well as short-term missions in Mongolia. She has invested her life in serving through the practical avenues of nutritional study, health coaching, and work as a doula and nanny. Whether delving into research, creating nutritional recipes, or sharing heart-to-heart encouragement, Ruth’s desire is to live each day with intention for the glory of God.

Mrs. Lolly Hale

Lolly Hale is the happy wife of Joseph and mother of six wonderfully rambunctious boys. She was raised in a Christian family of nine children, and before she married she enjoyed housekeeping and aiding her mom in homeschooling the younger children. At the age of twenty-two, the Lord blessed her with a wonderful husband and Lolly now enjoys daily life homeschooling, housekeeping, and helping her husband with the bookkeeping for his contracting business. Integrating a personal relationship with Jesus into her daily life is a joyous adventure and she is excited for the opportunity to come and share with girls the joy of knowing the Lord. The Hales reside in Alaska, where Joseph built a home for their growing family.

Elisha Ann Wahlquist

Elisha Wahlquist aims to draw closer to Christ. Her life is filled with her seven siblings and their growing lives, learning from her amazing parents, serving as her mother’s social secretary and homemaking sidekick, playing her great-grandfather’s violin, writing articles for magazines and websites, correspondence with other girls, and daily reminders of how God is faithful and gracious to fallen people like herself. Her deep desire is to be a wife and mother someday, but she has found rich contentment as she tries to serve in her father’s house, and her desire is to share that exciting challenge with other girls. She has published two books, in attempts to share some of what God has taught her over the years.

The Neely Team

The Neely Team is a family of twelve (and counting). Whether it be through ministering in music, hosting family conferences, launching entrepreneurial endeavors, practicing hospitality, or simply tackling the many projects that are necessary to daily survival with a large family, they delight in being and working together as a Team. Though certainly not perfect, they desire to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in everything that they do, and to encourage other families in the same pursuit. The Neely Team will be sharing through sessions and music.

Tiffany Schlichter

After being homeschooled her entire life, Tiffany Schlichter graduated in 2007 and has found great joy serving the Lord and her family. God has given Tiffany a heart to encourage young ladies, and she has sought to do this through publishing Virtuous Daughters magazine and writing four books, including Noble Girlhood. As the oldest of eight children, one of her favorite things to do is spend time with her best friends: her parents, brothers, and sister. Relishing their lives together in East Texas, they enjoy singing, talking, finalizing their house building project, and working together in ministry. Tiffany would love to someday raise her own family if that is in His plan; but for now, she delights in embracing God’s will as He grows her closer to Himself through the triumphs and trials of daily life.

Sarah Lee Bryant

Founder of KBR Ministries

Sarah Bryant is a grateful daughter of the King, and her desire is to know Him more deeply each day. The oldest daughter of Tom and Dana Bryant, she was privileged to have been homeschooled and graduated in 2009. She is blessed to be part of a loving family, in which she is striving to serve the Lord while learning life skills and encouraging girls in their walk with Christ through KBR Ministries. Sarah has written two books and is also the editor of “The King’s Blooming Rose” magazine, which began in 2005. She finds it a privilege to see God working in the lives of young ladies around the world who are seeking Him.

Mrs. Karen Ward

Karen Ward has been married to Bill for 30 years; together, they educated their five children (Katie, Amy, Billy, Esther, and Andy) at home, with the last one graduating in 2014. All five children and Bill’s older sister Mary live at home, keeping the Ward-stead a busy place. Karen’s time is filled with serving alongside Bill in marriage, parenting, and one-on-one discipleship ministry in their church and community, as well as in managing the home. Her desire is to point other women to the Lord for their hope, security, and strength as they walk through life.

Katie Ward

Katie Ward lives near Kansas City with her parents and four younger siblings. She works with marketing, publications, and event coordination for Christian homeschool organizations in Missouri and Colorado, and she enjoys photography, traveling, and reading on the side.  Katie loves journeying through life with her family and encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. She’s passionate about family discipleship – passing on a multi-generational vision for knowing God and being known by Him.

Rebekah Parish

Rebekah enjoys encouraging other daughters and sisters to seek out God’s glorious purposes hidden in the routine of their daily lives, and helping them grasp the joy of treasuring and living out these purposes to God’s glory – in the family sphere and beyond. A 2013 homeschool graduate, she is currently completing a certification in herbal medicine and nutrition. Although daily reminded of just how much she has yet to learn, Rebekah is passionate about sharing truth through her longtime fondness of writing. She and her family of twelve make their home in rural Missouri.

Brittany Schlichter

Brittany Schlichter, a 2014 homeschool graduate, competed for six years in the National Bible Bee, through which the Lord enabled her to memorize more Scripture passages and books of the Bible than she would have ever thought possible! This experience gave her a passion for Scripture memory and study. Her desire is to encourage others to hide God’s Word in their hearts and to help them study the Bible for themselves. Brittany also enjoys working and playing with her family of ten at their home in Deep East Texas, being outdoors, singing, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Mrs. Dana Bryant

Dana Bryant is married to her high school sweetheart, Tom. They have trained and homeschooled their six children for 28 years. Dana is grateful for God’s faithfulness, love and redemption, and enjoys working alongside with her family on their farm. As a retired Army wife, she strives to encourage young wives to be obedient to God, serve their husbands, and raise their children in a Christ-honoring way. Learning about and using medicinal herbs is a favorite pastime, as well as gardening.

Mrs. Kathie Hoar

Kathie Hoar has been married to Keith for 49 years, and they have three sons and six grandchildren. They are thankful for the example and friendship of wonderful Godly people over the years. They have counted it a privilege to host visiting missionaries and Bible college students in their home throughout the years. Kathie enjoys music, gardening, and crafting. Her desire is to encourage and to edify believers and to show God’s love to a lost and dying world.

Anna Parish

Conference Photographer

Anna is a homeschool graduate living in Missouri with her family of twelve. She enjoys the challenge of documenting the gift of life in every season, especially families and the special bond they share! She loves a good story, whether it’s in a children’s book she reads to a little one, getting to know the people she photographs, or revisiting her old journal pages that tell a Gospel story all their own. Anna has helped provide photos for KBR Ministries’ publications since 2011, more recently organizing the KBR photography team.
